1. Barrow County Farmers Market Opening Day
Welcome spring and farmers market season at the Barrow County Farmers Market opening day celebration. Enjoy live music as you peruse the offerings from local farmers, makers, and artisans. Dogs welcome.

2. Experience Colonial Georgia at Fort Yargo
On the 2nd Saturday of each month, visit the historic fort at Fort Yargo State Park. Members from the Fort Yargo Living History Society will be on hand to answer questions.

3. Tour the Chesser-Williams House & Visit the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center
Stop by the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center on Saturdays for a chance to tour the Chesser-Williams House, a preserved 19th century farmhouse with interior and exterior wall paintings. Inside, see the history of Gwinnett’s waterways come to life through historical displays and a water cycle activity room. Fun and interesting for all ages!

4. Winder Library Book Bunnies
Kids will read a dino story with Miss Beth and then explore some book related activities and paleontological games! For kids in Kindergarten through 2nd grade.

5. Toddler Trek and Tiny Trailblazers
Activities that appeal to the nature loving kiddo in your life! Toddler Trek (for kids 1.5-3) will explore the smelly world of skunks, while Tiny Trailblazers (for under 5) explores the ocean. Register online at GwinnettParks.com
